A mentor of mine once asked me, “Does your wife put on makeup when she’s about to meet somebody important, such as a business prospect?”
“Well, yes”, I answered.
“And why is that?”, he continued his query.
“She wants to look her best, especially if it’s a first impression”, was the obvious answer.
“And that’s what I feel you do with your photographs. No matter what you’re shooting, you add that little bit of makeup!”

My primary service is listening. By listening to the client express his or her needs and asking questions, I can help him focus his ideas. At the same time I learn how to best translate those ideas onto film.

My background as a musician has taught me the importance of proper communication on all levels, whether I’m working in concert with other creatives on a project or by myself. No matter how technically great that piece of music is, if it doesn’t move the listener, you have achieved nothing.
